October jobs report adds to a U.S. economy full of uncertainty: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) shows that 12,000 nonfarm payroll jobs were added in October, essentially unchanged month over month. The average monthly job gain for the past 12 months is 194,000. Read more
