GREATER SEATTLE, WA March 28, 2024– The Greater Seattle Market Center office participated in the Seattle King County Association of REALTORS® RPAC auction last March. The event focused on advocacy and community, raising over $60,000 through the generosity of attendees.
They purchased a table and contributed chocolate martinis for the silent auction. The REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) has achieved significant victories, such as:
- Exemption from State Capital Gains Tax: Preventing extra taxes on real estate transactions.
- Encouraging Responsible Density: Promoting sustainable urban growth.
- REALTORS® Working During COVID-19 Lockdown: Allowing real estate work to continue during the pandemic.
These accomplishments highlight the importance of RPAC’s advocacy and the positive impact it has on the profession and the communities served.
