Keller Williams Northwest Region Hosts Inaugural Event Focused on AI, Marketing, and the Future of Real Estate

Seattle, Washington — On Tuesday, May 19, the Keller Williams Northwest Region hosted its inaugural Clear for Takeoff event at the iconic The Museum of Flight, bringing together 180 real estate agents and industry leaders from across the Pacific Northwest for a one-day experience centered on marketing, artificial intelligence, and technology innovation in real estate.

Attendees represented a wide range of brokerages, including Keller Williams, Windermere Real Estate, and Coldwell Banker, highlighting the event’s broad industry appeal and growing demand for practical education around the future of business growth.

Designed for agents and leaders who want to build authority, implement AI effectively, and create scalable systems regardless of market conditions, Clear for Takeoff aimed to equip attendees with the tools, confidence, and strategy needed to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing industry.

The day opened with a keynote presentation from Seattle marketing leader Rand Fishkin, cofounder and CEO of SparkToro, Alertmouse, and Snackbar Studio. Fishkin delivered a deep dive into the future of digital marketing through the lens of what he calls “Zero Click Marketing.”

Following the keynote, attendees heard from a Mega Agent Marketing Panel facilitated by Keller Williams Northwest Regional Director Leslie Hilbert featuring top-producing agents from across the region:

  • Lindsey Pearsall of Keller Williams Downtown Seattle on “Why Your Brand Matters”
  • Jacqueline Smith of Keller Williams Premier Partners in Vancouver, Washington on “The Relationship Flywheel”
  • Matthew Hansen of Keller Williams East Idaho on “The Social Media Deal Funnel”

The event concluded with a keynote from AI strategist Lauren Lucas titled “AI Playbook for Agents: Build Smarter Systems, Not Busier Ones.”Lucas focused on helping agents move beyond theory and begin implementing practical AI systems that improve response time, streamline follow-up, automate marketing, and create scalable business operations without losing the personal connection clients expect.

“Most agents don’t have a lead problem, they have a leak problem,” Lucas shared. “Slow response time, inconsistent follow-up, scattered messaging, and no system that runs when life gets busy.”

Attendees praised the event for delivering practical, forward-thinking education with immediate real-world application.

“Everyone in real estate has heard the line that AI will not replace agents, but agents who use AI will replace those who do not,” said Jordan Larsen, Team Leader at Keller Williams Realty Bellevue. “Most people say it and then disappear into theory. What Lauren Lucas did at Clear For Takeoff was different. She handed agents a real playbook, not concepts, not inspiration, actual steps they could execute the next day.”

“In a world that feels increasingly digital, there’s something incredibly valuable about being in a room with people who are willing to share ideas, challenge perspectives, and learn together,” said Lindsey Pearsall, agent at Keller Williams Downtown Seattle. “Lauren’s keynote broke things down in a way that felt accessible, actionable, and immediately impactful.”

Danny Greco, Keller Williams Greater Seattle agent, commented, “Rand Fishkin’s presentation on zero-click marketing and the future intersection of AI and marketing was especially strong. A lot of smart perspective on where things are actually headed.”

“Clear for Takeoff was one of the more worthwhile events I’ve attended in a while,” added Greco. “Informative, well planned, and full of practical takeaways.”

With strong attendance and positive feedback from agents across multiple brokerages, the Keller Williams Northwest Region plans to continue investing in innovative education opportunities that help agents stay competitive in an evolving real estate landscape.
